Equipment and Resources

GEML is setup for molecular biology, bacterial and mammalian cell culture experiments. Moreover, in collaboration with the external pageFunctional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ)call_made, GEML operates state of the art NGS instruments (external pageMiSeqcall_made, external pageNextSeq2000call_made). Access to diverse quality control apparatus (Fragment Analyser, Tapestation, Qubit) as well as elegant sample preparation and quantification methods (single cell genomics, digital droplet PCR) offer further experimental flexibility. Several published and validated whole genome libraries (human and mouse) are readily available in GEML.
